Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to classical music, as well traditional boleros. She also listened to classic romantic ballads, as well as traditional ranchero. Ana is a lover of tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. She began her singing and learning the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive vocal instruction at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera choirs as well as chamber ensembles. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. The singer currently sings classical Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently teaching at the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a love, in particular among the younger generation and keep the tradition in the present.
