Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was released through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca the album that was the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. He dropped Dopamina the chart-topping second album, in the years following. Later in 2021 he performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is from a musical background, both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory element of his existence. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar and piano. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend singing lessons from a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
